It became an independent 501 C-3 non-profit corporation in 2016. The program in Kenya reaches through community outreach mission trips to promote family health, HIV/AIDS awareness, and safe water.

The services since has expanded its programs as a non profit and continue its operations in US with hunger ministry, refugee assistance, case management and other social services. In near future, HICD hopes in starting an orphanage in India to provide children with shelter, food, education, health and other basic needs helping them to break the cycle of poverty.
